D.P. Electric held a BBQ to commemorate the hard work, dedication and flawless project execution of DPE field staff on the new Go Daddy corporate office space located at 2150 E. Warner Road in Tempe.
DPE management and office support alongside staff from Ryan Construction, the general contractor on the project, and Go Daddy attended the BBQ to show their appreciation to the 28 DPE field workers. The BBQ, a big hit with the staff, was catered from Rudy’s BBQ & Country Store in Chandler.
After lunch, Mike Brown, DPE’s senior field manager on the Go Daddy project, stood up and thanked his team for a job well done and extended his gratitude to Project Manager Bruce Myers for his support throughout the course of the project. The team had worked tirelessly, overtime and weekends included, since July of 2013 to complete the expansive new corporate office space on time. Known for a commitment to quality and safety, the DPE team at Go Daddy completed the project with zero safety incidences.
Afterwards, field members Demetrius Johnson, Tom Leu, Bob Queen, Charlie Karcher, Ron Anderson, Tim Lizarraga, Orlando Contreras, Steve Redies, Hans Funk and Lucky Ng, who recently celebrated his 16th anniversary at DPE on August 20, were recognized by Mike, President Dan Puente, and Vice President Scott Muller in front of their team. These individuals were acknowledged for going above and beyond during the job and being an integral part in making the project a success. The lunch concluded with a raffle conducted by Dan, Scott, and Field Operations and Safety Manager Ernie Bonham.
DPE was contracted for design/assist on the project along with installation of electrical distribution, fire alarm system, and telecommunications conduit system for Arizona-based GoDaddy. The project took just over a year, beginning in July of 2013 and was completed on-time and within budget.
