D.P. Electric Completes Work on New GoDaddy Global Technology Center
The new center will house 1,100 employees for the Arizona-based web domain and software provider

TEMPE, Ariz.  (Oct. 22, 2014) – D.P. Electric was selected by Ryan Companies for the new  two-story GoDaddy Global Technology Center, located in the Arizona State University Research Park at 2150 E. Warner Road in Tempe. The new facility opened on October 15, replacing an existing facility for the web host and software provider.

The innovative and creative GoDaddy facility features amenities as unique as they are fun.  A giant slide from the first to the second floor,  yoga room,  go kart track, and outdoor volleyball and basketball courts and a soccer field are just a few of the features to foster a collaborative and stimulating work environment  for GoDaddy staff. The facility also features a custom dining area and full-kitchen with onsite chefs.

D.P. Electric was awarded the contract for site, shell, and TI on the project providing design assist and working as part of the ground-up construction team. The project encompassed the installation of the electrical power distribution system, fire alarm system, specialty interior and exterior lighting packages, and telecommunications conduit system.

The D.P. Electric field team was led by Project Manager Bruce Meyers and Senior Field Manager Mike Brown.  Brown and the 50 D.P. Electric team members successfully completed the project on-time, and with zero safety incidences.
