The EMOD (Experience Modification Factor) rating of a company is a reflection of its safety record. A rating of 1.0 or less is generally considered very excellent and qualifies a contractor to work for owners who select only safe contractors. At DP Electric, Inc. we are proud to continuously maintain an EMOD of less than 1.0, with our current EMOD of .76.

Safety Policy

D.P. Electric, Inc. is concerned for the safety and well being of its employees in the workplace. The prevention of occupational-induced injuries and illnesses is of such consequence that it will be given precedence over operating productivity whenever necessary. Management provides safety training, physical protection and mechanical safeguards to ensure personal safety.

D.P. Electric, Inc. maintains a safety and health program conforming to the best safety practices of organizations of this type. Our safety and health program will include:

  1. Provision of mechanical and physical safeguards to maximize safety
  2. Conduction of a program of safety and health inspections to find and eliminate unsafe working conditions or practices
  3. The control of health hazards by complying fully with the safety and health standards for every job
  4. Training for employees on good safety and health practices
  5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and instructions for its use and care
  6. Development compliance and enforcement of safety and health regulations as a condition of employment
  7. Prompt and thorough investigation of every accident to find cause for safety infractions and to implement corrective measures
  8. Compliance with OSHA, state and local safety standards
