JOB DESCRIPTION
The Layout Technician is responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic understanding of plans and reading blueprints.
- Can operate all survey equipment Windows 10, Total Station, level, chalk line, etc..
- Can perform basic Location calculations to help our team in the field.
- Keep construction documents up to date.
- Keep equipment safe and in proper working order.
- Maintains inventory of material in work vehicle.
- Responsible for performing construction stakeout and storing stakeout data.
- Understand and make changes to File using Trimble Field Points.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate and interface with others.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
