JOB DESCRIPTION

The Layout Technician is responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic understanding of plans and reading blueprints.
• Can operate all survey equipment Windows 10, Total Station, level, chalk line, etc..
• Can perform basic Location calculations to help our team in the field.
• Keep construction documents up to date.
• Keep equipment safe and in proper working order.
• Maintains inventory of material in work vehicle.
• Responsible for performing construction stakeout and storing stakeout data.
• Understand and make changes to File using Trimble Field Points.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate and interface with others.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
